Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is reportedly attracting the interest of Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton.

Tony Cascarino has stated that Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is a player for the ‘next decade’ as he can’t see interested party Arsenal signing him this summer, with Everton also reportedly showing interest in his services.
The former Republic of Ireland international thinks that Celtic won’t allow their highly-rated left-back to leave for the fee touted for him, as he also referenced to the lack of spending power Arsenal have.
Herald Scotland recently claimed that Arsenal have seen a £15 million bid rejected for Tierney, who is also attracting the interest of Everton and is being rated at £25 million.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (23/06/2019 at 8:20 am), Cascarino shared his thoughts on Tierney’s future and why he thinks he could stay at Parkhead this summer.
“He’s played at Celtic and he’s been one of their main players,” Cascarino told TalkSport. “I don’t think Celtic will let him go for the sort of fee [being touted]. I just can’t see that. He is expected to be a player for the next decade and there is a lot more improvement in there.
“I think Celtic will do as much as they can to hold onto him. That is where Arsenal are shopping at a different window [in regards to their transfer budget].”

In recent seasons, Tierney has played a huge part in Celtic’s dominance as his success up north has seemingly attracted the interest of the Premier League.
Out of Arsenal and Everton, the former is more in need of defensive options after another poor campaign in England’s top-flight where the London club struggled to keep the ball out of the back of the net.
If Tierney were to move to the Emirates Stadium then given his qualities there is no doubt that he would walk straight into Unai Emery’s starting XI – but Celtic will be very keen on keeping hold of their key man as they push for nine-in-a-row.
