The pundit thinks Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Bournemouth are headed for the drop.
Tony Cascarino believes Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Bournemouth will get relegated from the Premier League, according to Sky Sports.
Newcastle lost 5-1 to Crystal Palace at the weekend, while Bournemouth drew 3-3 with Everton. Aston Villa, bottom of the table, lost 3-2 at home to Watford.
And Cascarino told Sky Sports that he sees the Magpies, Villans and Cherries getting relegated this term.
Of course, it’s a little lazy and convenient that the pundit has simply named the three teams currently in the relegation zone.
But, in truth, it’s difficult to see how Newcastle, Aston Villa or Bournemouth could survive at present looking at those above them.
Norwich City are perhaps candidates but look to have more about them than the bottom three. Sam Allardyce has already worked wonders at Sunderland and those higher up in the Premier League have made an impression early on.
Bournemouth, however, have been ravaged by injuries and leaked goals, while Newcastle and Villa’s struggles need little documenting.
Next up for Newcastle is a clash against Liverpool at St James’ Park, while Villa travel to Southampton and Bournemouth face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
