Tony Cascarino has raved about Moises Caicedo for his performance against Manchester United and has sent a warning to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool about his price-tag.
The former Chelsea player has written in The Times that Caicedo, linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, was exceptional for Brighton and Hove Albion against Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The talkSPORT pundit has added that the 21-year-old Ecuador international midfielder’s price-tag has just gone up.
During his time on the pitch against United, Caicedo took one shot which was not on target, had a pass accuracy of 85.5%, took 82 touches, attempted four dribbles, and made one tackle and three interceptions.
Caicedo has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffSide that Arsenal wanted to sign Caicedo in the January transfer window and remain keen on the Brighton star.
Sky Sports reported this month that Liverpool are keen on bringing Caicedo to Anfield at the end of the season.
The Premier League club have reportedly identified the youngster as a potential alternative to Borussia Dortmund and England International midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Tony Cascarino on Arsenal and Liverpool target Moises Caicedo
Cascarino said: “For Brighton & Hove Albion this was tough as I thought they were the better side overall, their final ball just letting them down.
“Moises Caicedo was brilliant and deserved his man of the match award. His energy and ability to pinch the ball is exceptional.
“That transfer price tag gets bigger with every high-profile game he plays.”
