Pundit Tony Cascarino isn’t impressed with Tottenham’s bid for Wilfried Zaha.

Pundit Tony Cascarino has told The Irish Sun that he thinks Wilfried Zaha will be a star after Tottenham made a move to sign the Crystal Palace winger.
Zaha, 23, has rebuilt his reputation by returning to Palace from Manchester United in 2014, just a year after Sir Alex Ferguson had lured him to Old Trafford.

When Zaha was sold to the Red Devils, he was one of the most electric players in the Championship, and played a huge part in helping Palace win promotion to the Premier League in 2013.
A miserable year at United ended with a return to Palace, and he’s gone from strength to strength ever since, even winning the club’s Player of the Year award last season – but his performances appear to have attracted interest.

As reported by BBC Sport last week, Tottenham Hotspur lodged a bid of £15m for Zaha, with manager Mauricio Pochettino desperate to add some pace to his options out wide before the transfer window closes tonight.
However, Palace snubbed that bid, and with The Guardian reporting that Spurs have returned with an unsuccessful £21m offer for Zaha, it seems the Ivorian-born former England international is set to stay at Selhurst Park.
The move came as something of a surprise, and pundit Tony Cascarino has offered his opinion on the situation to The Irish Sun – and it’s fair to say he isn’t impressed with Tottenham’s offer.

Cascarino confidently backed Zaha to become ‘a star’, and told Tottenham that £15m simply isn’t enough to buy what he thinks is an ‘elite player’ in the current transfer market.
“One deal that will not happen is Wilfried Zaha moving from Crystal Palace to Tottenham for the £15m being quoted,” said Cascarino. “Palace are right to label it ridiculous — Zaha is going to be a star and £15m does not buy you an elite player any more,” he added.
