Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be hoping to be the top marksman in England’s top-flight once again this season.

Tony Cascarino has claimed that ‘many countries’ would want a striker like Harry Kane as he labelled the Tottenham Hotspur striker as ‘extraordinary’.
Over the weekend, Kane netted a hat-trick for England as they recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over Bulgaria in their Euro 2020 qualifier at Wembley.
During the last World Cup in Russia, Kane was the top marksman in the competition as England reached the semi-finals, but they fell to an agonising defeat against Croatia.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (08/09/2019 at 8:10 am), Cascarino claimed that Kane was criticised by some for his World Cup performance in Russia, as he stated that many across the world would like a player like him.
“What is clear is that you can trust and rely on Harry,” Cascarino told TalkSport. “In some ways, people have been critical of his World Cup top-goalscoring campaign of six goals. Okay, there were penalties, but generally, if you look at his numbers they are extraordinary.
“I think there would be many countries in the world of football that would love to have a man who gets a goal ratio like Harry Kane does.”

It could be argued that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, but there are other players in the Premier League who would have something to say about that.
Nonetheless, in these opening few games of the season, Kane has scored three goals for Spurs, including netting from the spot-kick against Arsenal last time out.
Tottenham will take on Crystal Palace once the international break is over, but before then Kane will be focusing his attention on a home tie against Kosovo.
