West Ham United have an outside chance of finishing in the top 10 this season with two games remaining.

Tony Cascarino has compared Issa Diop’s recent performance for West Ham United to that of Aston Villa legend Paul McGrath.
The 22-year-old put in a masterful display for his side as they recorded a deserved 1-0 win at Tottenham’s new stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (28/04/2019 at 7:30 am), Cascarino stated that Diop reminded him of McGrath in the manner in which he played at the weekend.
“I have got to say, defensively Diop at the back he was absolutely [brilliant],” Cascarino told TalkSport. “He might have been a Paul McGrath. When McGrath was at his best. He’d make tackles. He’d drive forward. He did a few times, Diop from the centre-halves position [against Tottenham].
“He defended brilliantly against Son on a couple of occasions. He just made challenges. He made a great challenge on Lucas Moura as well.”
There is no doubt that Diop has been one of West Ham’s standout performers this season, with the highly-rated defender moving to the club last summer.

Whilst Manuel Pellegrini’s side haven’t shown the consistencies they would have wanted to showcase this season. The signs are positive moving forward for the East London club.
There are two games remaining in the Premier League and if the Hammers can pick up maximum points, and other results go their way, then they can sneak into the top 10.
Other than that, it seems as though they will be settling for finishing 11th this term, which is an improvement considering the troubles of the previous campaign.
