Dele Alli has not been in good form for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season.

Alli has been in disappointing form so far this season and did not have a good game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League at the weekend.
The England international midfielder is one of the best players in England and is one of the best young players in Europe.
The 21-year-old’s rise over the past two or three years have been stunning, but there has been a dip in form this season.

Former Chelsea striker Cascarino has suggested that manager Pochettino should drop Alli from the team during the festive period.
Cascarino wrote in The Times: “Like the team, if Alli has the ball and time he is great. But stifle him and his frustrations can get the better of him.
“He should have been sent off for his foul on Kevin De Bruyne and Mauricio Pochettino would do well to take him out of the spotlight for a game or two over Christmas.”

Alli does need to step up his game, and perhaps not playing for a game or two during the festive period will help.
While it is easy to criticise the Tottenham midfielder, one must remember that he is only 21 years of age, and a dip in form was inevitable.
