Everton reportedly want Watford boss Marco Silva as their new manager.
According to The Sun, Everton are interested in appointing Watford boss Silva as their new manager.
The Toffees are on the hunt for a new permanent boss following the departure of Ronald Koeman.
The Merseyside outfit are struggling at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Watford are doing well in the Premier League and could end up in the top half of the table.
Silva, who was appointed the manager of the Hornets in the summer following his departure from Hull City, is doing a great job at Vicarage Road at the moment.
Former Chelsea and Chelsea striker Cascarino has suggested that Silva should not take the Everton managerial job.
Cascarino believes that the Portuguese should wait for a bigger club who are aiming to play in the Champions League.
“I think Marco Silva has to forget interest from clubs such as Everton and focus on where he is for now, because if his success continues he is in line for a top-six job,” Cascarino wrote in The Times.
“I think he’s bigger than the Everton job and should sit tight and wait for a club fighting for the Champions League,” added Cascarino.
