Adam Lallana is an important player for both Liverpool and England.
Former Celtic and Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has suggested in The Times that Liverpool attacking midfielder Adam Lallana should not take too many risks.
The former Republic of Ireland international made the comments following England’s 3-0 win against Scotland at the Wembley Stadium in London last Friday.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge put the Three Lions in the lead in the 24th minute, and his club teammate Lallana added a second on 50 minutes.
Chelsea defender Gary Cahill wrapped up the points for Gareth Southgate’s side just past the hour mark in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group F game.
Lallana started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, but former Aston Villa striker Cascarino was not impressed.

“Adam Lallana is probably one player who has the skill to try something audacious when under pressure but I would not recommend that he attempts it on a regular basis,” Cascarino wrote in The Times.
“Such risks will guarantee an early departure when in the knockout phase of the major tournaments.”

Lallana is a very good attacking midfielder, and has established himself as a key figure both in the Liverpool squad and in the England national football team.
The 28-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, does take risks and it is part of his game.
As long as the former Southampton star is creating chances for his teammates, everyone should be happy with his contribution.
