Tottenham Hotspur will be competing against Liverpool and Manchester United for the top honours in the Premier League next season.

Tony Cascarino has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen isn’t good enough for Liverpool because he isn’t quite at the pace Jurgen Klopp’s team play at.
The former Republic of Ireland international also stated that it shows how far Manchester United have fallen in regards to their interest in the Spurs man.
The Mirror recently claimed that playmaker Eriksen is considering a move to Manchester United this summer, with one year left on his contract and a dream move to Real Madrid collapsing.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (23/06/2019 at 8:10 am), Cascarino shared his thoughts on Eriksen’s links with United, and why Liverpool aren’t considering a move for him.
“That is the sign of the times where United now being a rival to Spurs when years ago they were selling to Man United, they weren’t a rival because United were so far ahead,” Cascarino told TalkSport. “It shows the fall from grace United have gone down to. It feels like a sea change.
On whether he’s surprised that Liverpool aren’t being linked with Eriksen: “Eriksen’s season has been indifferent. He’s been okay. He hasn’t been as good as he has been in years gone by. He is a fabulously talented footballer.
“He isn’t quite the pace that Liverpool play. I think that’s a fair point. Liverpool play with high intensity and have rapid players in their team. Eriksen is more of a cultured footballer, who finds a pass. I don’t think Liverpool would be the fit for him.”

During the previous campaign, Eriksen didn’t produce his best performances on a consistent basis, but he has still shown enough that he’s still one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
Even though Man United are a bigger club, Eriksen potentially moving to Old Trafford would be surprising given their current status compared to Spurs.
The North London club will be playing Champions League football next term, whilst United will have to settle for Europa League football after finishing the previous campaign in sixth place.
