Pickford conceded six times as Spurs strolled past Everton at Goodison Park.

Tony Cascarino has told The Times that Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford must work on improving his mentality after conceding six goals on Sunday afternoon against Tottenham Hotspur.
Pickford was at fault for Spurs’ opener in which he charged out of his goal with Kurt Zouma seemingly in control of the situation, allowing Son Heung-min to equalise after Theo Walcott’s opener.
The England goalkeeper was also guilty of a lunge on Spurs midfielder Dele Alli that has since caused plenty of debate on social media, and perhaps should have done better for Alli’s goal during the 6-2 loss.
Former Celtic, Aston Villa and Chelsea star Cascarino has urged the ex-Sunderland goalkeeper to improve his mentality – claiming he is susceptible to a rush of blood.
“One man who maybe does need to work on the mental side of his game is Jordan Pickford,” Cascarino said. “The Everton goalkeeper is a talented and likeable lad but lacks composure at times and can be prone to a rush of blood to the head.
“As well as his error for Tottenham’s first goal, there was the challenge on Dele Alli too. He doesn’t want to become known as error-prone.”

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane both scored twice, while Alli and Christian Eriksen got their names on the score sheet in an embarrassing loss for Marco Silva’s Everton – who scored through Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Everton have fallen down to a disappointing 11th place in the Premier League, with only six wins from 18 league games. The Toffees travel to struggling Burnley on Boxing Day, before facing Brighton on the south coast on the 29th.
