Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping to progress even further with Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Tony Cascarino has stated that Nuno Espirito Santo has implemented a ‘relentless’ work rate and demand at Wolves, just like the respective managers at Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City have done.
But the TalkSport pundit also claimed that Wolves boss Nuno is going to be one of the ‘big names’ in management for the next decade, as he continued to compare him with Premier League champions Manchester City, Champions League winners Liverpool and Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham.
After winning promotion to the Premier during the season before last, Nuno guided Wolves to a very respectable top-seven finish.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (21/07/2019 at 9:45 am), former Aston Villa striker Cascarino was in awe at what Nuno has been building at Molineux.
“They have managed that balance like bringing an experienced player like Moutinho to the club, and then keeping a Neves,” Cascarino told TalkSport. “They have just done so much good business in these last two or three years. Even when they got promoted, they had done the business of a team that was destined to win that Championship.
“I think the work ethic of their manager and all their coaching staff, it’s there for everyone to see. There is no stone unturned at Wolves. I think Nuno is going to be one of the big names in management for the next decade or so.
“I just see a relentless work rate and demands and how his team plays. We laud teams like Liverpool, City and Pochettino’s Tottenham for how they work and the emphasis on building a real team ethic. Wolves have done that totally. That has been their DNA for the last couple of years. I think Wolves are the most likely to break into the top-six.”

Wolves will now be planning to progress through to the Europa League group stages after earning that shot with their league finish last season.
Despite the highs of previous seasons, Nuno and his team will now face their biggest tests because of the expectation on their shoulders and the fact they are in Europe.
But some movement will need to be made in the transfer market if they are to cope with the demands of the up and coming campaign as the window slams shut on August 8.
