Both Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers shared the spoils in the Premier League last month.

Tony Cascarino has claimed that Newcastle summer signing Allan Saint-Maximin is like Adama Traore when he is playing at his ‘very best’ for Wolves.
Whilst Saint-Maximin didn’t get on the scoresheet for Newcastle at the weekend, he was utterly devastating on the counter-attack as they picked up three points at the London Stadium.
Since Saint-Maximin moved to St James’ Park, he has showcased pure pace and power when he is driving at defenders, something Traore has also done during his time in England.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (03/11/2019 at 6:20 pm), former Republic of Ireland striker, Cascarino shared his brief thoughts on Saint-Maximin and Traore.
“He’s quick,” Cascarino told TalkSport. “He’s like Traore. When Traore is playing his very best for Wolves, he’s very much like that. You can also be too quick [in regards to him missing guilt-edge chances just like Traore].”
Traore has adopted a slightly different role since moving to Wolves, as manager Nuno Espirito Santo has used him as a wing-back, and it is a change that is working.

He has always been accused of not having an end product, whether it be trying to put that final ball into the box, or simply finishing a chance provided to him.
On Saturday, whilst Saint-Maximin showcased his blistering pace on the break, he should have scored for his side, as he did miss a couple of big chances.
But it is still early days for him and he has shown for a defensive-minded Newcastle side, he can provide that attacking excitement the fans are looking for.
