Dele Alli has not been playing well for Tottenham Hotspur for a while now.

The former Chelsea striker, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, was not impressed with the performance of Alli during Tottenham’s Champions League game against Olympiakos away from home in Greece on Wednesday evening.
The 23-year-old England international midfielder failed to make an impact in Greece and was substituted in the 73rd minute.
According to WhoScored, the youngster took two shots of which one was target, had a pass accuracy of 84.4%, took 41 touches, and made one tackle and one interception.
Cascarino wrote in The Times: “Dele Alli is 23 and at a crossroads in his career for club and country. His performance for Tottenham against Olympiacos was flat last night and generally he looks a bit lost.
“Yes, he has been very unlucky with injuries, which have obviously held him back a bit, but he is a long way from producing the kind of fantastic displays we were seeing two or three years ago.
“He is just not affecting games that much. On the international scene he is at risk of being overtaken by the many young, English attacking midfielders who have arrived on the scene recently.”

Improvement needed
Alli has not been on top of his game for a while now, and it is imperative that the Tottenham and England international steps up his game.
The 23-year-old is one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League, but the Englishman does need to be more consistent and return to the kind of form he was in when he initially joined Spurs.
