Aston Villa reportedly want Jack Butland of Stoke City.

According to The Birmingham Mail, Villa are interested in signing Butland from Championship club Stoke in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Potters are looking for £20m as transfer fee for the 26-year-old England international goalkeeper.
Former Villa striker Cascarino does not think that £20m for Butland is too much money.
Cascarino said about Butland’s reported price-tag on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Sunday morning (8:21am, July 14, 2019): “The price of him in the market is £20 million. He is 26, Jack. A goalkeeper can go on a few years more. I don’t think it’s a big price.”

Should Aston Villa make move for Jack Butland?
Butland is a very good goalkeeper with experience in the Premier League, and the England international is too good to play in the Championship.
It is only a matter of time before the former Birmingham City goalkeeper leaves the Potters, and it does make sense for Villa to make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
True, £20m does sound a lot of money for a goalkeeper, but given that Butland is only 26 years of age, Villa could have him for a long time or sell him for a lot more money when he does extremely well for them.
