Tottenham Hotspur suffered a damaging defeat at Burnley in the Premier League over the weekend.

talkSPORT pundit Tony Cascarino has claimed that there is a ‘seeded doubt’ in the head of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino ‘before and during games’.
Cascarino stated that Pochettino ‘can’t make out’ if his team are better suited to playing three at the back or playing a simple back four during matches.
Since joining the London club, Pochettino has showcased his ability to play both formations and transaction between the two with ease if he felt that he needed to make a tactical switch, i.e. the 3-0 Champions League win over Dortmund.
Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT (24/02/2019 at 7:25 am), Cascasrino thinks there is ‘doubt’ in Pochettino’s mind as he was referring to their 2-1 defeat at Burnley over the weekend.
“One thing I feel that there is a seeded doubt in Pochettino’s head during games and before games,” Cascarino told talkSPORT.
“He sometimes for me can’t make out if he thinks his team is better as a three as a defence or a back four.”

Since Harry Kane and Dele Alli’s injuries last month, Spurs have gone from strength to strength in the league and in the Champions League without their star men.
But when Kane was brought back into the fold at the weekend, they suffered a damaging loss to Sean Dyche’s side as their hopes of potentially winning the Premier League title took another blow.
Pochettino’s side are five points behind second-placed Manchester City in the table, who won the Carabao Cup on Sunday after beating Chelsea on penalties.
Added with that, they are six points behind current leaders Liverpool, who recorded a goalless draw away at Manchester United. – Spurs play Chelsea and Arsenal in their next two league fixtures.
