Leeds United and Aston Villa’s game at the weekend saw two controversial goals scored.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has been praised by pundit Tony Cascarino in his Times column.
Bielsa made the decision to allow Aston Villa to score after his Leeds side had netted when an opponent was down injured.
The Argentine’s decision to adhere to ‘fair play’ principles saw Bielsa reflected in a good light in the mainstream press.
Cascarino said: “It may seem strange to say given the revelations earlier in the season that he spies on opponents but I think Bielsa cares about winning games in the right spirit.
“He made a snap judgment call yesterday but the fact he was thinking about what was right rather than focusing on the score at the time sets an example to others.”

Former England striker Michael Owen weighed in on the game too, insisting the blame lay with Aston Villa.
Owen said that teams must learn to play to the whistle, and not expect the game to stop.
Ultimately the game did not count for much, other than to whet the appetite for a potential Leeds versus Aston Villa clash in the play-off final.
Both teams have plenty of work to do to get to that stage, where they hope to be just 90 minutes away from promotion.
