Tony Adams says that Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin was so bad yesterday it looked like he had never played the game before, as per his comments to Premier League productions, during their live coverage.
Arsenal sunk to a 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby and Bellerin didn’t cover himself in glory.
The Arsenal full-back took a foul throw, and struggled to get to grips with Heung-Min Son during the contest.
Bellerin slipped as Son scored his first goal and then was caught miles down the field for Tottenham’s second.
And Adams just felt that the Spaniard’s display showed a real naivety.
“Hector Bellerin, it looks like he’s playing the game for the very first time, there’s no communication with Holding,” the former Arsenal centre-back said.
“The only game of late that I’ve seen him play half-decent was against United, when they didn’t have a winger to deal with.
“They’re losing the game down the sides. Son is destroying him.”

Bellerin was actually withdrawn late on as Arsenal searched for a route back into the game which never came.
Tottenham dealt with everything Mikel Arteta’s side threw at them with relative ease.
Arsenal had all the ball, but rarely rested Hugo Lloris, as Tottenham picked up the three points.
Arsenal and Bellerin badly need to improve, as they are currently sat in 16th place in the Premier League table, which simply isn’t good enough.
