QPR have had a difficult few months.

Queens Park Rangers defender Toni Leistner has thanked supporters for sticking by the team.

QPR have had a horrendous run of form in 2019, winning only one league game.

This came in a surprise victory against Leeds last month.

They have not been able to build on this with more wins, although they have managed to draw two of their last three matches.

It has been a testing time for fans, understandably.

Defender Leistner has voiced his appreciation, with the club heading into the international break.

He sent a message on Twitter thanking fans for their relentless support.

The international break could do QPR good.

Their poor run has seen them plummet to 18th in the table, but they are still well clear of the relegation scrap.

Two wins from the last eight games should see them safe. Next up is a match at home to crisis side Bolton.
