Tommy Elphick is out of contract at Aston Villa this summer.

Tommy Elphick has taken to Twitter to send a message to Aston Villa, as the defender prepares to leave the Villans.
Elphick is out of contract at Villa this summer, and the 31-year-old defender seems to be leaving the Villans after being released by the club.
The defender joined the Villans from AFC Bournemouth in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Express & Star to be worth £3 million.
The 31-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Hull City and was recalled to Villa midway through the campaign.
The defender played an important role in the Villans’ finish in the Championship playoffs and then progressing through the playoffs to book a place in the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign.
According to The Express & Star, Villa have decided to release Elphick, who seems to have confirmed his exit from the Villans on Twitter.

The defender, though, should find a new club soon. According to The Hull Daily Mail, Hull want to sign the defender this summer, while The Express & Star has claimed that the 31-year-old is considering offers from clubs in the Championship.
