Aston Villa remarkably drew 5-5 with Nottingham Forest, and Tommy Elphick was an interested viewer.

Out on loan Aston Villa man Tommy Elphick posted a simple message on Twitter, following Dean Smith’s side’s dramatic draw with Nottingham Forest last night.
Villa, rather unbelievably, drew 5-5 with Nottingham Forest at Villa Park last night in what was a breathless match.
Both sides seemed to forget how to defend, in what was an attacking battle.
The match made for great entertainment, and Elphick could not resist commenting on social media website Twitter.
Elphick was sent out on loan by Villa when Steve Bruce was in charge, and he now at Hull City.
Bruce deemed Elphick to be surplus to requirements, but Smith may want to take a look at the centre-back when his loan does expire.
Villa have not looked particularly steady at the back this season, and signing more defenders in January is likely to be a priority.
Villa’s draw with Forest last night has lifted them up to eighth place in the Championship table.
