Jason Cummings is back at his parent club Nottingham Forest.

Jason Cummings spent the second half of the past season on loan at Rangers after failing to make an impact at Nottingham Forest, and he could struggle to get back into the team at the City Ground.
According to The Sunday Post, Forest are holding talks with Cardiff City over the permanent signing of Lee Tomlin in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a striker, spent the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Forest from Cardiff, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship.
The former Peterborough United striker scored four goals and provided three assists in 12 Championship starts for Forest, who are reportedly now in talks with Cardiff over a permanent deal for him.

No need for Jason Cummings?
If the Reds do sign Tomlin on a permanent contract, then manager Aitor Karanka could be open to selling Cummings as he may not have any need for the 22-year-old striker.
The Scotland international striker scored just four goals in 17 appearances for Forest in the past half of the 2017-18 campaign before leaving for Rangers on loan, according to The Sunday Post.
Having paid Hibs a transfer fee of £1 million in the summer of 2017 to sign Cummings, as reported by The Sunday Post, Forest could decide to cut their losses and part company with the youngster on a permanent basis.
