West Ham United had a rather busy deadline day with two players coming through the door.
Nikola Vlasic came in to bolster the Hammers’ attacking midfield spot and hopefully add some goals to the side after Jesse Lingard’s return to Manchester United left a bit of a void in the number 10 role.
Meanwhile, there was a more defensive arrival towards the end of the day as Alex Kral arrived on an initial loan, and as you can imagine, his Czech teammate Tomas Soucek was over the moon.
Soucek is claiming an assist on this one it would seem.
Soucek is turning into quite the asset for West Ham, not only is he one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League, but he’s also becoming one of the best scouts.
Indeed, the former Sparta Prague ace has now played a part in two signings at the London Stadium with Vladimir Coufal and Kral both arriving on the back of his recommendations.
As we all know, Coufal has been a rousing success at right-back, and if Kral is half as good as his Czech teammates then the Hammers will have another very special player on their hands.
