Rogic has been sensational for Celtic this season.
Former Celtic midfielder Jackson Irvine has suggested that international teammate and current Hoop Tom Rogic has Brendan Rodgers to thank for his sensational run of form this season, The Scottish Sun reports.
Rogic played well during Ronny Deila’s time in charge, but appears to have stepped up a gear this term, having scored five times and contributed two assists already in the Scottish Premiership.

And Irvine – who made his one appearance for the Bhoys before Rogic arrived in 2013 but continues to work alongside the midfielder for Australia – has suggested that the change of manager has been the key reason behind the 23-year-old’s brilliance this season.
“He’s flourishing now and he can be a huge part of the club’s success,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

“There’s no doubt that Rodgers is getting the best out of him.
“Tom knows what it can be like playing in front of Celtic fans — as much as they love you, they can also crucify you.
“But he’s a million miles away from that, he’s been absolutely superb.”

The statistics definitely hint that Rogic is set to enjoy a better season this time around. He is already within three goals of the tally he managed in last term’s top flight, and that has been an important factor as to why the league title already appears to be something of a formality for Celtic.
And if Rodgers can continue to get the very best out of Rogic, then perhaps it may not be too long before the Australian becomes the kind of talisman who can inspire the Hoops to make a greater impact in Europe.
