According to the Daily Record, Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic wants to fight for his place at Parkhead.

With David Turnbull snapped up from Motherwell last month, it looked like Rogic would be on his way out of Celtic.

An unnamed team in Qatar wanted to sign Rogic, and boss Neil Lennon actually told the Daily Record that Celtic accepted a bid for him.

It all looked like Rogic was all set for a £3.5million move away from Parkhead, but the move has allegedly fallen apart.

This new report now states that Rogic hasn’t been able to agree personal terms, and now wants to fight for his place Celtic.

That won’t be easy after Turnbull’s arrival, especially as Ryan Chrisite, Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham are also at Lennon’s disposal.

Rogic is a quality player and a great option to have around the squad, but Celtic may have seen this as a way to bring in funds – and that prospect now appears to have slipped away.
