Is the 23-year-old Celtic’s most improved player since Brendan Rodgers came in?
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has told The Glasgow Evening Times that he will only continue to improve under manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Australian is one of quite a few players who look to have improved since the Northern Irishman replaced Ronny Deila at Parkhead in the summer.
Rogic has netted five goals from midfield already this season and he looks set to be a big player for Celtic for the rest of the campaign, fitness permitting.
The 23-year-old, who has also set up two goals in the Scottish Premiership, might be the most improved players since the ex-Liverpool boss came in.
And he told The GET that he will simply get better and better.
Rogic said: “Personally, I’m feeling that working under Brendan Rodgers, I can only get better.”
Rogic’s Celtic career has been hampered by injury at times but he, along with Hoops fans, will hope he’s over the worst of them.
As he’s proving, he is a fine talent and one who will only help the Bhoys achieve what they want to achieve this season and beyond.
The Star reported that Arsenal were interested in signing him during the summer and although a move down South failed to materialise, Rogic might well follow the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama and become a Celtic man who impresses in English football at some point in the future.
