Lewis Baker has made little impact since joining Leeds on loan from Chelsea.

Leeds United's Lewis Baker during the Sky Bet Championship match between City and Leeds United at Liberty Stadium on August 21, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Tom Pearce has begged Leeds United teammate Lewis Baker on Instagram to “teach” him the art of free-kicks, after the midfielder posted a video of himself practising at Thorp Arch on Instagram

Baker, 23, has made little impact at Leeds since joining the club on loan from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea in the summer, managing just 121 minutes of Championship football.

Similarly, Pearce is also struggling for game time under Marcelo Bielsa, with Barry Douglas considered the club’s best left-sided defender while Gjanni Alioski and Stuart Dallas have been used in the Scotsman’s absence.

Baker showed fans that he is still looking to impress on the training ground despite his lack of action, as he practised his free-kicks with some exquisite finishes uploaded to his Instagram.

Baker remains behind the likes of Samu Saiz, Adam Forshaw and Matuesz Klich in the midfield pecking order, leaving his chances of a earning his way into the Chelsea side extremely unlikely despite his £20,000-a-week contract expiring in 2022 (Spotrac).

Left-back Pearce commented on the Instagram post, asking Baker to “teach me”.
