‘Toffees really enjoyed the win’: Some Madrid fans react to £50m rival winding up Liverpool

Real Madrid supporters reacted on Twitter to Everton forward Richarlison trying to win up Liverpool supporters during Tuesday’s Champions League tie.

With Vinicius Junior running Liverpool ragged, his fellow countryman, Richarlison, couldn’t help but post the following image on his Instagram story.

It grabbed the attention of the Everton supporters, but also those from Madrid, who were loving how he was trying to wind them up.

When Vinicius Junior does land in Merseyside next week, if he does cause more damage, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if Richarlison is pretty quick to make his feelings known again.

The £50 million star (BBC Sport) did score at Anfield this season during his side’s first win at their rivals home ground since 1999, so he knows what it’s like to taste a win against Liverpool this term.

But, of course, this is the Champions League and Liverpool are famed for their comebacks.

Without an Anfield crowd present, it does make Liverpool’s job that bit harder, especially given their form on home soil this term.

The Reds have lost a remarkable six home games on the bounce, with Aston Villa facing them at the weekend, before the Madrid showdown.
