Despite Tottenham Hotspur dropping more points on Saturday, Dele Alli scored a much-needed goal to boost his currently fragile confidence.

Toby Alderweireld has stated that his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Dele Alli is ‘working hard’ and doing ‘very well’ to try and get his form back.
The attacking midfielder netted for Spurs on Saturday when Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a 1-1 draw at home to rock bottom, Watford.
Alli was a bright spark for Spurs during the game, as he constantly tried to drive his team forward and create something from the game.
After the match, Alderweireld made it clear that Alli is trying his utmost to try and get back to his best, as he will now be looking to add some consistency to his game.
“He’s working hard to get his form back,” Alderweireld told Spurs’ official Twitter account. “And he’s had a couple of injuries, he is doing very well to be back and he’s working hard.”

Alli hasn’t been the only Spurs player who has been bang out of form, as there are a number of players that fall into that category.
But Pochettino will be hoping Alli can be the one who rediscovers his form because if he can do that then he will instantly start to add goals to his game, and that is something Spurs need.
Alli lost his England place over the international break, and before another set of Euro 2020 qualifier fixtures take place next month, he will be hoping to prove his doubters wrong.
