Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur were humiliated on Tuesday night.

Toby Alderweireld has revealed that Mauricio Pochettino reported for media duties instead of being with his Tottenham Hotspur team in the immediate aftermath of last night’s horror show.
Spurs were subjected to a horrific Champions League night in North London as Bayern Munich beat Pochettino’s side 7-2.
It was the latest low point in what is already becoming a miserable season for Tottenham, who are 10 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool and have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup – by a League Two side, no less.
Pochettino took a while to speak to media following Tuesday’s demolition and it was assumed that he was with his players in the dressing room, but Alderweireld confirms that he did not see their manager afterwards.
He told Football London: “I think he [Pochettino] went straight to media so we were just with the lads. Of course we did not say a lot, everyone was quiet.
“We have to manage it as a team, be together and work hard to pick ourselves up and try to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.”
According to The Guardian, Massimiliano Allegri was in attendance to watch Tottenham’s defeat, which of course poses huge questions over Pochettino’s future with the Lilywhites.
Allegri has been out of management since leaving Juventus at the end of last season, having delivered five successive Scudetti titles.
