Tottenham defender is ignoring speculation over his future.

Toby Alderweireld may be absent from Tottenham’s recent squads, but he remains part of their first team when it comes to training.
This isn’t something which should be taken for granted under Mauricio Pochettino, who has in the past banished Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Andros Townsend from first team training.
Alderweireld’s future at Tottenham is on hold amid the stand-off over his new contract, and he has not been selected for a Premier League game since he returned from injury in February.

The Belgian is remaining somewhat farcically upbeat on social media, acting as if there was no problem at all and refusing to address the situation.
Tottenham fans aren’t particularly pleased with how the situation is playing out with one of their top defenders.
While some supporters are still hopeful a deal can be worked out to extend his contract, others just want the situation over with, and in the meantime, for him to stay quiet.
As one fan succinctly puts it, ‘sign or shut up’. But there appears no keeping him quiet, and the longer it drags on, the more uncomfortable it is for all concerned.
