Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld speaks highly of Celtic star Dedryck Boyata.

Boyata is part of the Belgium national football team and could play an important role for the side at the ongoing 2018 World Cup finals in Russia this summer.
The 27-year-old defender could start Belgium’s opening game against Panama due to injury to Manchester City centre-back Vincent Kompany.
Tottenham defender Alderweireld, who is one of the best in his position in the world and is valued at €36.2 million (£31.68) by the CIES Football Observatory, has praised Boyata, who costs the Hoops £1.5m in transfer fees when they signed him from Manchester City in the summer of 2015, according to BBC Sport.

Alderweireld told The Scottish Sun: “I remember Dedryck’s debut with the national team. He was young but since then he’s had a beautiful evolution. The team has a lot of confidence in him.”

Good defender
Boyata is not exactly a ‘great’ defender and did make mistakes from time to time at Celtic this past season, but the Belgium international can do a decent job.
With players like Alderweireld backing the former City man, the 27-year-old centre-back can have a very strong World Cup for Belgium.
