Former Arsenal star wants to see Tottenham ace at The Emirates.

Former Arsenal ace Perry Groves has urged the Gunners to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld this summer.
Speaking to Sportingbet, Groves explained he wants Arsenal to make a move for the Belgian.
The 1988/89 league winner says he believes it would be ‘hilarious’ if Arsenal could tempt Alderweireld to switch North London clubs.

Groves said: “Toby Alderweireld would be my dream signing for Arsenal this summer. I think he’s one of the best central defenders in the Premier League and I would love us to take advantage of his contract situation at Tottenham. It would be hilarious.”

Tottenham may be bracing themselves for big interest in Alderweireld, but the chances of them selling to Arsenal are slim at best.
Alderweireld will also know how hated Sol Campbell is, the last player to make the switch. Is he really willing to put himself through that?
Campbell at least was joining a superior team at the time. Arsenal are on course to finish below Spurs for the second season in succession.
