Tottenham Hotspur won against West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Premier League at the weekend.

Spurs got the better of West Ham 3-2 away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Carroll did not start the London derby, but the 28-year-old striker came on as a substitute in the 28th minute.
Tottenham central defender Alderweireld has shared his opinion on how he and his fellow centre-backs Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez played against the 28-year-old England international striker.

“We know Carroll is difficult but Jan, Davinson and myself, we made it difficult,” the 28-year-old told Tottenham’s official website.
“It wasn’t the fight we had to win. We had to be high because if you drop thinking you’ll be safe they then drop the ball in the box and it’s difficult.
“We defended cleverly and, of course, with a red card, they are going to press us. We did well on that point.”

Tottenham were the better team against West Ham, but they did not find it easy to defend against the Hammers in the final 30 or so minutes of the game.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from six matches, five points behind Manchester City and Manchester United, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
Alderweireld joined Tottenham from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £11.4 million.
Carroll moved to West Ham from Liverpool in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £15m following a loan spell from the Reds.
