Tottenham Hotspur return to Europa League action on Thursday night, as they travel to Austria to take on LASK.

Spurs drew 0-0 with Chelsea on Sunday to go back to the top of the Premier League table, and now it’s back to Europe.

Jose Mourinho’s men beat Ludogorets 4-0 in the Europa League last week, and will be looking for a similar result tomorrow night.

With a big game against Arsenal coming up through, Mourinho may need to rotate some of his side – and today’s training was an eye-opener.

Harry Kane missed out and won’t face LASK, and the same goes for Erik Lamela, Sergio Reguilon and Carlos Vinicius as none of them were spotted in training today.

Mourinho has confirmed to Football.London that Lamela won’t face Arsenal, but the other three do have a chance to be back to face the Gunners.

It sounds like all bad news on the injury front, but that’s not the case – today’s training session, streamed on YouTube, showed Toby Alderweireld in training.

That’s a huge surprise; less than two weeks ago, Mourinho suggested that Alderweireld would be out for a long time after an injury against Manchester City.

Now, the Belgian is back and gearing up for action again, and whilst Mourinho suggested that he has no chance of playing tomorrow, he could be back very soon, with Alderweireld tweeting out a photo from training as he celebrated being ‘back on the grass’.
