Tjaronn Chery netted 10 goals for Queens Park Rangers last season.

Tjaronn Chery has told the Kilburn Times that Queens Park Rangers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has warned him that he needs to raise his standards next season.
Chery appeared to thrive under Hasselbaink’s leadership towards the end of last campaign, when he became Rangers’ main attacking threat.
However, the Dutch boss is determined to get the best out of his compatriot, and Chery is pleased that the standards are so high at Loftus Road.

“The manager has told me he expects me to do a lot better than last season, and I was really pleased to hear that,” the attacker said.
“I like that pressure and it shows the manager cares about you and only wants the best for you so you can fulfil your potential.
“He said he knows I am capable of so much more and he is right. I did well last season but there is a lot more to come from me.”
Chery netted 10 times in 41 Championship appearances for QPR last term, but inconsistency did plague his season.

The former Groningen man dropped out of the side midway through the campaign, and it wasn’t until Hasselbaink was appointed that he started showing his best.
Chery is expected to play a key role at QPR next term, as the London side aim for promotion.
Rangers finished in a disappointing 11th place last season, and Hasselbaink has been quick to make changes to his side over the summer.
Rangers are set to head into the new campaign with a much younger side, meaning there will be added responsibility for the likes of Chery to carry next season.
