Losing your manager to another club is always a blow, as Celtic fans will tell you after losing Brendan Rodgers to Leicester back in 2019.
However, this time it’s Rangers who’ve lost their gaffer, and as you can imagine, Celtic supporters are rather smug about this fact.
The Glasgow rivals are once again battling it out for the Scottish title, and despite the fact Rangers are four points clear at the top of the table, you have to believe that Celtic have a great chance of winning the league now that Gerrard has gone.
The 41-year-old was a real thorn in Celtic’s side during his time in Glasgow, he led Rangers to their first title in a decade last season and the Teddy Bears didn’t lose a single game in the league throughout 2020/21.
