Liverpool clinched a deal to sign Naby Keita earlier this week

Former Liverpool forward Titi Camara has praised the club’s signing of Naby Keita.
Liverpool announced earlier this week they have struck a deal with RB Leipzig to sign Keita in 2018 for £48 million, paying a premium to activate his release clause early.
Camara shares Guinean nationality with Keita and earlier this transfer window tipped him to make the move.

Commenting on Twitter yesterday after the Reds sealed the transfer, he promised that Keita is worth the wait for Liverpool fans.
Liverpool tried and tried to sign Keita this summer but could not convince RB Leipzig to sell.
Acting now to pay his release clause before other clubs get involved is a wise move from the Reds, and shows smart future planning.
Keita was one of the Bundesliga’s star players last season and he will be pushing hard to show he can replicate his form, with the spotlight increasingly upon him.
He should also be able to play with freedom knowing his future is already secured and there is no uncertainty heading into next summer when his release clause would have become a distraction.
