Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for the current Manchester United man.

Phil Foden #80 of Manchester City attempts to move around Marouane Fellaini #27 of Manchester United at NRG Stadium on July 20, 2017 in Houston, Texas.

Titi Camara has intimated on Twitter that he does not want to see former club Liverpool sign Marouane Fellaini this summer.

The Manchester United midfielder looks set to leave Old Trafford on a Bosman in July as his contract runs down.

L’Equipe raised eyebrows recently by suggesting that Liverpool would be among those in contention to sign the Belgium international.

The Daily Mail, however, stated that the Reds won’t be sounding out the former Everton man about a move to Anfield.

And Camara, who played 33 Premier League games for the Merseyside club, is certainly hoping that’s the case.

It does seem like an odd transfer and one that doesn’t make a great deal of sense.

Regardless of Naby Keita’s arrival, manager Jurgen Klopp might be in the market for another midfielder as Emre Can looks set to leave for free, but surely Liverpool, who are huge favourites to reach the Champions League semi-finals tonight, can do a lot better than the former Toffee, who turns 31 in November.
