Brazil manager Tite has said that he is not planning to replace Mikel Arteta as the Arsenal boss, as quoted in Mundo Deportivo.
Tite has said that he feels sad that there is speculation about him taking over at Arsenal from Arteta.
The 60-year-old has apologised for his name being linked with Arsenal.
Globo TV journalist Eric Faria said on ESPN last week that talks are underway for Tite to work at Arsenal after the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar later this year.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
Tite on Arsenal rumour
Mundo Deportivo, quotes Tite as saying, as translated by TheBootRoom: “About the information given during the broadcast of the Globo network, my feeling is very sad and I get sad because information is passed on to the public that is a lie.
“I apologise to Arsenal, but that information did not come from us and there is absolutely nothing.”

Stick with Mikel Arteta
In our opinion, Arsenal should stick with Arteta even if the North London club do not finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
Arteta is building an Arsenal team in his own image, and his impact at the club is there for all to see.

Not many would have expected the Gunners to finish in the Champions League places this season, but here they are, just a few games away from getting back in Europe’s premier club competition.
In our view, Arsenal need to keep faith in Arteta even if the Gunners miss out on the top four and give him at least another season to continue his remarkable work.
