Lyon star Tino Kadewere has praised Marvelous Nakamba on Instagram for his performance for Aston Villa against Arsenal.
Nakamba has taken to Instagram to revel in Villa’s win against Arsenal at Villa Park in the Premier League at the weekend.
Ollie Watkins scored the only goal of the match after just two minutes, as the Villans maintained their chances of finishing in the European places in the league table.
Nakamba started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 27-year-old central midfielder’s performance impressed Lyon star Kadewere.
Kadewere, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, plays with Nakamba for the Zimbabwe national football team.
The 25-year-old has made 19 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Against Arsenal on Saturday, Nakamba looked a bit rusty initially, having returned to the starting lineup after four matches
However, the 27-year-old grew into the game and did his part in helping the Villans to all three points.
According to WhoScored, the central midfielder played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 68.6%, took 34 touches, played one key pass, and made six tackles, one interception and two clearances.
