Celtic star seized his chance.

Timothy Weah seized his chance for Celtic last night and moved his side a step closer to another league title.
He has an impressive scoring record and has made an instant impact on his loan from PSG.
And that’s where the problem lies. He’s on loan.
The league title is nearly won and Celtic have an opportunity to look ahead.
Weah is currently not part of their plans for next season, and his game time could suffer as a result.
Manager Neil Lennon needs to continue to give game time to Odsonne Edouard, and try to get Vakoun Bayo and Leigh Griffiths back involved, players who currently stand to figure in Celtic’s squad next season.

Lennon needs to learn more about them and where they are at. Little can be gained from continuing to push Weah, unless they think it can lead to a permanent deal or extended loan.
That’s the big hope, that Celtic can persuade PSG to let them have Weah for another season at least.
But if Celtic play him each week, and it leads to nothing, they will have wasted the chance to get Bayo and Griffiths better prepared for next season, or to give one of their own youngsters an opportunity.
