Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side are said to be considering the Manchester United defender.
If Aston Villa manage to get a deal done for Timothy Fosu-Mensah then it could be a great signing for Dean Smith’s side.
The youngster is currently at Fulham, but his game time has only been limited there, and United may offer him out to Villa.
With Smith’s side looking for a defensive addition, Fosu-Mensah could be brilliant.
The Dutchman is capable of playing at centre-back or right-back, which means he could cover two problem positions for the claret and blues.
Villa have already been linked with Kortney Hause, but Fosu-Mensah would be an even better signing than the Wolverhampton Wanderers’ defender.
The 21-year-old is highly regarded at United, and his pace and ability in possession is eye-catching.
And Villa already seeing the quality of Axel Tuanzebe, having taken him on loan from the Red Devils, it should be a no-brainer to snap up Fosu-Mensah should he become available.
