Swiss defender Timm Klose has recently been discussing his future at Norwich City.

After what has been a difficult season in the Championship, Norwich City fans are facing the possibility of another year in England’s second division, after failing to follow the example of fellow relegated side Newcastle United this season, and bounce straight back.
With results not good enough, and the play-offs looking increasingly unlikely, the Canaries have now parted ways with manager, Alex Neil, and potentially face a summer of departures, with some of their big names players possibly looking for moves away.
One such player is Norwich City’s Swiss defender Timm Klose. The centre-half joined Norwich City over a year ago from German side VfL Wolfsburg, but in a recent interview with Swiss Newspaper Basellandschaftliche Zeitung, the defender cast doubt over his future at Carrow Road, speaking about his desire to one day play for FC Basel, and the current uncertainty over Norwich’s managerial situation.
“Of course this depends on the new coach,” Klose said, as he and his team mates await news of Alex Neil’s successor. “But it is also the case that we have decided with the club that we will soon discuss my future.”

Whilst making it clear that he does not have an offer on the table from Basel or any other clubs, the former Wolfsburg man added: “Whether or not I remain is not yet decided. As soon as it becomes concrete, I can say something about it. But at the moment I’m playing for Norwich City, and that’s a priority for me.”
As one of Norwich City’s best defenders, a potential departure for Timm Klose would be a heavy blow for the Canaries. However, with their new manager not yet announced or decided, perhaps a new man at the helm could convince the Swiss defender to stick at Carrow Road for at least another season?
