Some Leeds United fans on social media have been imploring Marcelo Bielsa to finally hand Crysencio Summerville a debut.
Leeds have a bit of an ongoing injury crisis on the right wing with Raphinha being a doubt and Helder Costa being ruled out for the season, and while Ian Poveda would be the prime candidate to start against Tottenham, some Leeds fans would rather see Summerville.
The Dutchman has been shining for the U23s this season, earning all sorts of plaudits along the way.
He’s already played top-flight football in the Netherlands, but United supporters believe it’s about time he got a taste of the Premier League.
Of course, whether or not Summerville is selected on Saturday remains to be seen, but with Leeds’ season all-but-done, it does seem like an opportune moment for Bielsa to give him a chance.
