Omari Hutchinson has told Arsenal fans on Instagram that it’s ‘time to say goodbye’ after he left the club to join London rivals, Chelsea.

The 18-year-old forward has donned Chelsea colours on a permanent deal after joining Arsenal at the under-12 levels, as posted by the club website.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have two high-quality academies that have produced the best of the business, but Hutchinson clearly feels his future lies with those in West London, as he posted the following message to fans.

HOW WILL HUTCHINSON FAIR AT CHELSEA?

At both Chelsea and Arsenal, there are many examples Hutchinson could have followed in order to fulfil his long-term dream of being a first-team player.

The likes of Mason Mount and Reece James are thriving under Thomas Tuchel, whilst Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher are hoping to make their mark next term after fruitful loan spells last time out.

Perhaps that’s what awaits Hutchinson because, during his time at Arsenal, whilst he never made a senior appearance for the club, he also wasn’t sent out on loan.

But he is going to turn 19 in October and it’s probably high time he showcased his stuff at another club so he can make a name for himself.

That next step in his career is going to be crucial because fans will get to see what the player is made of.

Hutchinson doesn’t want to get this one wrong because he has made a bold call to swap one London club for another without breaking into the first team.

Either way, there are high expectations of the player, who can represent England on the international stage, but it seems as though he will represent the colours of Jamaica instead.
