Reported Celtic target Ivan Toney has said that he feels that it is ‘time to move on’ from Peterborough United to Sky Sports.
The Daily Record claim that Celtic are looking to sign Toney, but struggling to meet a compromise with Posh over the striker’s asking price, which currently stands at £9 million.
Toney has now spoken about his future, and suggested that he sees his future away from the League One club.
But it may not be all good news for Celtic, as Toney has hinted that a move to the Premier League is what appeals to him the most.
“I let my agent and my dad take care of all that, I let them know which clubs I’d like to go to, but whether there is interest I’m not too sure,” Toney said.
“I want to play in the Premier League, but we’ll see what happens and see who comes along.
“I feel like from a personal view it’s time to move on.”

Celtic have already signed Albian Ajeti this summer, so whether Neil Lennon still wants another striker remains to be seen.
Toney would be an exciting addition to Celtic’s squad if he was to arrive at Parkhead.
The 24-year-old blasted in 26 goals for Peterborough last season and is now considered to be one of the best strikers outside the top flight in England.
Toney has not played in any of Peterborough’s pre-season friendlies yet, although he is now training with the rest of the squad ahead of the new campaign.
