Harry Wilson is a hugely talented player, and there is no surprise that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers and Leeds United are among the clubs linked with the Liverpool winger.

The Scottish Sun reported in May that new Rangers manager Gerrard wants to secure the services of Wilson on a season-long loan deal from his former club Liverpool.

The report credited Leeds, Huddersfield Town and Aston Villa with interest in the 21-year-old winger, and the race to the signature of the Wales international is hotting up.

According to a report in The Mirror today, Fulham and Huddersfield are ready to pay £7 million in transfer fee to sign Wilson on a permanent contract from Liverpool.

The Reds would reportedly prefer to send the 21-year-old out on loan, but it has also been claimed that the Merseyside outfit may be tempted to cash in on the youngster should he fail to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first team squad next season.

Wilson has been on the books of Liverpool since 2005, but the youngster has yet to play in the Premier League for the Reds, and has been out on loan to Crewe Alexandra and Hull City.

The Wales international is 21 years of age, and perhaps it is time for Liverpool to make a decision on his long-term future, especially with Fulham and Huddersfield reportedly ready to pay £7m for him.
