Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Miguel Almiron.

According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle are interested in singing Almiron from Major League Soccer outfit Atalanta in the January transfer window.
Vickery said about Almiron on Sky Sports: “He is a player I like a lot. He was – briefly while he was there in Argentina – the best player in the Argentine league.
“He helped Lanus – which is a relatively small first division club – to win the title. He has terrific pace, really wonderful acceleration and a lovely left foot.”

Good signing for Newcastle United
Almiron is one of the best and most creative players in Major League Soccer, and the Atlanta star will be a good signing for Newcastle in the January transfer window.
The Magpies do need a creative midfielder who can create chances for the strikers and can also score goals, and the Paraguay international does fit the bill.
The 24-year-old scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 MLS games for Atalanta this season, according to WhoScored.
Newcastle are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Rafael Benitez’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Watford at St. James’ Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
