Sky Sports pundit Tim Sherwood thinks that Ryan Gravenberch will join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has said on Sky Sports News (2:46pm, August 19, 2023) that he is sure that Ryan Gravenberch will move to Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Football Transfers has reported that Liverpool are interested in signing Gravenberch this summer.

Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Liverpool could soon make a bid for the £200,000-a-week (The Mirror) Netherlands international midfielder.

Sky Sports pundit Sherwood has noted that Gravenberch is not getting much playing time at Bayern and thinks that the 21-year-old will move to Anfield.

Liverpool backed to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch

Gravenberch made three starts and 21 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern last season.

Sherwood said: “If you looked at their squad at the moment, can they be the champions of the Premier League again? Absolutely not.

“But anything can happen in the next couple of weeks.

“I am sure Ryan Gravenberch will go in there, the midfield player from Bayern. Hasn’t played since he has been there.”

We think that Liverpool could be able to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder himself said towards the back-end of last season that he was not happy at the lack of playing time.

Liverpool are a massive club and are hugely appealing.

Leaving Bayern for Liverpool this summer would be a sideways move for the Dutchman.

And Liverpool reportedly want him.

So, the midfielder knows that he would be able to play week in and week out for Jurgen Klopp’s side, as long as he performs.

The problem that Liverpool could face in signing the 21-year-old is convincing Bayern.
